Witness for the Prosecution

After its huge stage success, the play was made into a film by Billy Wilder in 1957, starring Tyrone Power (in his last completed film role), Marlene Dietrich and Charles Laughton. The film won numerous awards, including seven Oscar nominations, and was the year's number one box office hit worldwide.

The tour de force cast includes: Denis Lill (star of the highly acclaimed series, The Royal), Ben Nealon (Soldier, Soldier), Robert Duncan, who played Gus Hedges in the multi-award-winning comedy Drop the Dead Donkey, Peter Byrne and 60’s teen idol Mark Wynter.

Emily French, an elderly woman who recently left her considerable estate to the charming young Leonard, is found dead.
